I realised early in life from photography that the eyes were the most telling part of the human psyche — a window to the Soul, as they say. The sense of betrayal emanated from the young man’s eyes, as if someone had taken away his very being. But I felt that the matter was not a one-way street, and that ultimately, both parties has failed to come out with the truth.
